The innovative tool of the digital labour-card is included among the actions of the Ministry of Labor and Social affairs in the effort for the digital transformation of the Private sector. The purpose of the event is to present the plan for the digital work card, the benefits it will offer to businesses and employees, the changes it will bring to the private sector and how it will be gradually implemented.
Speakers will cover important topics such as:
- Why it is considered a guarantee for the observance of the working hours and the payment of any overtime in accordance with the law
- How it helps to control undeclared and implied work.
- How the digital labour-card helps to avoid unfair competition.
- Why The digital work card also makes checks by the Labor Inspectorate transparent and objective and is the “key” to the fair implementation of reforms such as the right to disconnect in telework, the arrangement of working time and the equalization of overtime in industry and services.
- The wider positive effects of the digital card, on the labor market and the Greek economy
