Introduction to Digital Marketing

This module overviews the Digital Marketing field: the basic terms of Marketing, which are the fields involved, the objectives, benefits, channels as well as consumer behavior, digital buyers and communication models. The participant will comprehend how the user reacts and responds to any content & will be able to effectively communicate with the target audience.

With the completion of this module learners will be able to:

  • Analyse key terms of Digital Marketing
  • Explain differences in Traditional vs Digital Marketing
  • Explain emerging trends in digital marketing and critically assess the use of digital marketing tools by applying relevant marketing theories and frameworks
  • Analyse communication strategies tracing the customer journey and behavior

Customer Journey

This module analyzes basic Marketing concepts related to consumer behavior and adapted to the Digital environment. The module presents the basic tools and techniques for the learner to understand how the user reacts and responds to any content exposed, enabling him to communicate in a targeted way with the audience he is interested in.

Digital Marketing Strategy Goals & KPI’s

This module explores the Digital marketing techniques and the basic metrics set upon the objectives of an advertising campaign. This module familiarise learners with business goals directed at achieving set marketing goals. Goals are determined by what business objectives are and in order of priority. After these goals are set, digital marketing campaigns are developed and executed to achieve them. The learner acquires the basic knowledge and skills for the creation of a Digital Marketing strategy.

With the completion of this module learners will be able to: 

  • Understand the digital marketing in the digitalization of business practices.
  • Develop a digital marketing plan that will address common marketing challenges
  • Recognize Key Performance Indicators tied to any digital marketing program
  • Analyse and differentiate Digital Marketing Values, Digital Marketing Focus Areas and KPIs

S.E.O

In this module, all the concepts and tactics that fall under Search Engine Optimisation are analysed. Learners create a S.E.O. strategy, as well as the reports required using the most modern tools.

Content Marketing Strategy

Participants will learn how to develop a content marketing strategy, as well identify the channels to share it with. They will practice through the corresponding workshop.

Social Media

The module fully covers the issues related to both advertising and organic presence on the popular Network. The learner will understand key concepts and practices and learn how to create and optimize comprehensive online advertising campaigns.

Visuals

In this module participants will learn the basic specifications required on the Networks for all visuals, as well as the best practices they should follow for viewing them.

Google Ads

This module fully develops the basic concepts involved in serving on the Google Network. Trainees will learn how to practically create an advertising campaign as well as how to optimise it to achieve the best performance.

UX Design & C.R.O.

This module analyses the concept of User Experience and its importance in the performance of any advertising display. At the end of the module, the trainees will collaborate with graphic designers and developers in order to contribute to the creation of efficient sites & landing pages.

Digital Marketing Planning Steps & Guide

In this module the participants will learn how to research the competition, define the audience of each advertising campaign, as well as set the budget of a digital marketing plan.

Tracking Performance & Reporting

In this module, participants will learn how to connect your site or your e-shop with google analytics, how to set goals, how to measure and control basic parameters in google analytics and finally to create reports through Google Data Studio.

Workshop: Create a complete digital marketing strategy for your brand

The workshop will practically prepare you for all the steps needed to fully develop a digital marketing strategy to implement.

Final Evaluation

Students will be assessed using three (2) methods:

A) Case Study: The trainee will develop a case study from an online store, with specific data from performance in Google Analytics and will be asked to answer specific questions regarding the improvement of specific indicators, as well as to propose actions that will contribute to the development of Brand.

C) Hands-on campaign: It will be requested to create an advertising campaign on the Facebook network with visual-verbal creation and audience targeting.
