Iro Doumani is General Manager at the Hellenic Federation of Road Transport since 2013. OFAE is a non-profit organisation that represents more than 6.000 road transport operators involved both in goods and passenger transport in Greece. She is also elected as Vice President of the Goods Transport Council of the International Road Transport Union (IRU) that upholds the interests of transport operators to ensure economic growth and prosperity via the sustainable mobility of people and goods by road worldwide. She is also a deputy Member of the National Logistics Council in Greece, which works under the auspices of the Ministry of Development and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.

As a professional in mobility and Logistics she aims to work for the growth and competitiveness of road transport in Greece, by establishing the necessary conditions for the smooth transition of the national market to the new standards that are laid down in the European market. Main focus areas of her work are environment, innovation, road safety and promotion of cooperation among stakeholders in order to achieve a more efficient and sustainable Supply Chain.

She studied Economics at the University of Piraeus and she holds a MA in Marketing from the University of Portsmouth, UK.
