Το University of Northampton κατέκτησε το Silver Award στο Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF)!

Με μεγάλη χαρά και υπερηφάνεια, το Epsilon College ανακοινώνει ότι o ακαδημαϊκός του εταίρος, το University of Northampton παρέλαβε ασημένια διάκριση στην κατάταξη αξιολόγησης Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) με την οποία η Βρετανική Κυβέρνηση αξιολογεί τα Πανεπιστήμια.

Το TEF είναι ένα εθνικό πρόγραμμα που διοικείται από το γραφείο των φοιτητών (OfS) και έχει ως στόχο να προτρέψει τους παρόχους υψηλής εκπαίδευσης να βελτιώσουν και να παρέχουν αριστεία στους τομείς που ενδιαφέρουν τους φοιτητές περισσότερο: τη διδασκαλία, τη μάθηση και την επίτευξη θετικών αποτελεσμάτων από τις σπουδές τους.

Τα Πανεπιστήμια που συμμετέχουν, λαμβάνουν δύο επιμέρους και μια συνολική βαθμολογία μετά από αξιολόγηση, σχετικά με την φοιτητική εμπειρία που προσφέρουν καθώς και για την απόδοση των σπουδαστών τους. Αυτό σημαίνει ότι η εμπειρία και τα αποτελέσματα των φοιτητών του University of Northampton, είναι πολλή υψηλής ποιότητας, σύμφωνα με τη κρίση της ομότιμης ανεξάρτητης αξιολογητικής επιτροπής που επισκόπισε όλο το φάσμα της Βρετανικής τριτβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης. Η τιμητική αυτή ασημένια διάκριση, έχει ισχύ μέχρι το 2027 και καθόλη αυτή τη χρονική διάρκεια, το University of Northampton θα συνεχίσει να εργάζεται με στόχο την επέκταση των επιτευγμάτων του και τη δημιουργία μετρήσιμων βελτιώσεων, συμβατών με τα όραματα της στήριξης της φιλοδοξιας, της δημιουργίας ευκαιριών και την παραγωγή θετικού αποτυπώματος.

The University of Northampton has been awarded Silver in the Teaching Excellence Framework announced today (28 September).

Also known as the TEF, this is a national scheme run by the Office for Students (OfS) that assesses and rates universities and colleges for excellence in the quality and standards of their undergraduate education.

Providers that take part in the TEF receive an overall rating and two others – one for the student experience and one for student outcomes. UON has been awarded silver for each aspect and silver overall, meaning ‘the student experience and student outcomes are typically very high quality.’

UON Vice Chancellor Anne-Marie Kilday said: “We are delighted to have received a Silver award in the 2023 Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF), and very proud of all the UON staff and Students’ Union staff and officers whose work contributed to this outcome.

“This judgement means that the University of Northampton student experience and student outcomes are typically very high quality, when considered in the context of the whole UK higher education sector. The Silver award applies until 2027, and during this time we will continue to build on our achievements and make evidence-based improvements in line with our mission to support aspiration, create opportunities and deliver impact.”
